What sort of things do you put on a middle level of the cage?

This is our cage so far. I have some things to make for the top level but I'm wondering if I'm meant to put anything in the middle level (the run up to next level)? If so what could I put? What do you all have in you all got in yours?

That's a great looking cage!

Up to you to be honest may just be noice for them to have that area to run on, it is also dark enough for them to feel secure and snooze on I bet!

Lovely cage! How about putting some nice snuggle sacks on that level? Seeing as it's all dark and cosy looking.
