What size cage?

Would a 5ft x 2.5ft cage be big enough for a boar and 2 sows? They would have access to a separate indoor run on a daily basis. I'm planning ahead for when Fudge gets to live with Daisy and his child bride in 4 1/2 weeks time and I want the girls to have enough space to avoid his amorous attentions

Yep! Will be perfect Mine trios (all 1x boar plus 2x sows) are in 5x2 C&C cages which is 13.6 sq ft. Yours will be 12.5 sq ft so not much difference and Guinea Pig Cages says for 3 piggies the min is 10.5 sq ft.

I don't think that the additional space for boars is a problem when it is just one boar in a group of girls.
