What should my guinea pig have in his cage?

I have 1 very laid back guinea pig. What should he have as far as entertainment, chews/toys, houses etc to keep him happy?

He loves running, jumping, hiding, and blankets/pillows.

Links to items would be great!
 
Can I ask why you just have the one piggy? Guinea pigs get very lonely and the best thing you could do for him is to get him a friend. You could take him boar dating were he could choose his own friend. Guinea pigs offer this great service and means you will not have guinea pigs that do not get along.

In terms of the cage I recommend wooden cabins as they love to hide in their and also chew the wood. Paper bags are fun to hide in and chew. Kitchen roll tubes stuffed with hay are a fun toy. I also have little beds for my piggies to snuggle in and put fleece inside to be cosy.
 
by far his best entertainment would be a friend, although very occasionally they wont accept a friend in with them, which is why piggyfan suggested boar dating through a rescue, but even if they wont live together, they do like to know there is another piggy near,as they can hear and smell them.x
 
Well today I gave my piggy a small primark bag with a little hay in and he seems to love it :) chews on it throws it about then snuggles up in it :D
There is also carboard rolls with hay, hanging treat dispensers, tubes, beds, ball chews. That kind of thing :)
 
Me and my roommate bought brother guinea pigs together, but she had to rehome her guinea pig due to financial problems.
 
I would go with the FREE options to entertain him. As previously posted, toilet rolls stuffed with hay, paper bags, towels hung in corners, carpet tubing for tunnels etc. Most of the junk at pet stores is just that....junk. It is overpriced and unnecessary. Please do your little man a favour, and save your money for a visit to the vets. He will be much easier to entertain and his quality of life will be so greatly impacted once his respiratory issues are dealt with finally. :) x
