What Shampoo Is Good For Long Hair

I need help finding a good shampoo for my long hair girl I tried the one for guinea pig but it doesn’t help with the bad smell and yellow stains and with just water doesn’t help either
 
I'm with @Betsy on this. Gorgeous Guineas Posh and Go is lovely stuff. I bathed my two longhaired boys in it several months ago, and they have had no matting at all since (although they do get brushed regularly too). It's not cheap, but considering you only need to use it very occasionally, it's well worth it.
 
I have had two long haired guinea pigs since Sept 2016. The only time I have bathed them is when they had a bout of hay mites. The special shampoo from Gorgeous Guineas solved the problem. I highly recommend their products.
But since then I haven't had to bathe them. I brush and comb them daily as it is amazing how much debris their long coats sweep up during their travels in their run. I have a tangle teaser brush from the Pound Shop that it quite gentle when brushing their hair to remove any tangles. I then used a broad tooth comb to further get their hair smooth. When the hair is easy to comb I use a smalerl toothed comb to remove small bits of hay etc from their locks.
I also carefully trim their hair around their bum and keep the rest of the hair cut so that it is slightly above the floor level. They are quite used to this now and do not react to the trimming. Infact I think they enjoy the extra contact (and so do I).
I believe this grooming means they do not have long hair that may soak up urine and cause smells.
If this does not work for you may want to get a vet to check for any potential health issues. I hope all goes well whatever you do.
 
Posh n go is so lovely, when I first used it I couldn't stop picking Donald up and giving him a sniff :lol!:
 
I must add though that if you are looking for something to turn a messy white haired bum back to white you might be searching forever. I find the stains never fully go

How do I use that is it when I’m giving her a bath or after a bath or with out a bath?
 
Can't remember now as it's a while since Betsy had a bum bath! Just follow the instructions that come with the shampoo.
