what is the size of my cage?

i know its 13sq ft but Niki is syaing its 18sq ft

its 5 grids by 3 grids, each grid is 14in. can somebody help?

Maths isn't my strong point especially at this time of night but 5x2 is 13 square feet I know that, you have another 5ft because it's by 3 so that makes 18. Is that how you are working it out Niki?

thought my cage was big. i thought it was only suitable for 3 pigs and wondered how people with 12 pigs had enough room for a cage lol ;D
 
5 grids = 70"
3 grids = 42"

70" almost 6ft 42" = 3.6ft

6x3 =18 18sq ft approx :)

or 70" x 42" = 2940 sq inch convert it into sq ft = 20.4 sq inch

Oops that's meant to say 20.4 sq feet not inch 98) I have inches on the brain, thank you kelly ;D ;D

Kelly your cage is huge...lol 5x2 is big enough for 3 so I would say 5x3 is big enough for 4. :D

Kelly as most know the minimum hutch for 2 piggies is 4ft x 2ft which is 8 sq ft so 16sq ft would be minimum for 4 which means yours is fine for 4.
Does this explanation make more sense? :)
 
CAn anyone tell me what 4 1/2ftx 2 1/2ft is in sq feet and 5 1/2ftx 2 1/ft cos i just aint got a clue how oyou work it out, not a amths genious :embarassed:

Your 4.5ft x 2.5ft = 11.25sq ft 5.5ft x 2.5ft = 13.75 sq ft :)
 
i dont want 4 though and nope niki no sense to me il just take your word for it :)
 
does anyone ahve the link for that C&C cage site with the cage sizes on, i can't find it ?
