My baby girl Ena has been acting a bit odd over the weekend towards Eleanor. She keeps standing on her back legs and putting her front feet on Ellie's head. It looks like Ena is trying to climb on Ellie's head or something. Eleanor isn't bothered by it and just lets her get on with it but does anyone know what she is doing? Is it a sign of affection or something? She doesn't do it to Eliza and Erin but just Ellie.

Could she be trying to mount her head? Meeko does that to Moxie, but only to Moxie, sometimes to his head, sometimes his back, they're boys though.

I would think the same - could she be trying to mount Ellie? AS long as Ellie isn't bothered about it, you need not worry. I found that girls can be very tolerant of other girl's seasons and their quirks.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like I have a frisky baby on my hands. I am surprised that Ellie is allowing her to do this as Ellie is normally the snappiest in the group.

I found that my big bully Nerys was ever so patient when Telyn mounted her repeatedly during her first wild season with the group.

Dominance bullying and hormonal behaviour when in season are two very different things for the piggies - even though they often look similar to us!

baxter does that to ruby when he's rumblestrutting. he'll put his chin/front feet on her head.
