This may or may not be a stupid question, but what is foraging?
Is it just food like grass, dandelions etc that you find outside?

Is it just food like grass, dandelions etc that you find outside?

Foraging means searching for food. Foraged food in terms of guinea pigs implies 'wild' foods (as opposed to shop bought foods), like your search for like dandelions and other edible garden plants or it applies to food stuff that you sprinkle around the cage or run and let the piggies find on their own instead of serving in a bowl.

If you bring home grass or dandelions, please make sure that they are dog and fox pee free. The pee of these is poisonous to guinea pigs and can - if fresh - actually kill them.
