What head height needed!!

Just wondered what is the minium height required for guinea pig hutch/house! I know its about 5ft long by 2ftwide for 3-4 guinea pigs. My double decker hutch that I made last year is the bottom half of hutch is about 18'' but only about 16'' for top half! It looks smaller because of the wooden frame work!
I've made the frame for the indoor hutch,but don't know what height to make the ''house''!

Grids for C & C cages are 14" high & are perfect for piggies so i'd say 14" O0

If it is going in a shed you need to consider how much light will be in there you might find even thought the guineas don't need the head room they may need extra height to let enough light in O0

Also for yourself... you don't want it to be a complete pain to clean out.

it won't be total enclosed.Will only have the house to sleep in and open plan play area! Of course it will be caged in on the edges!

i have a apex roof on my hutch .

I think it has too be quite tall because my pigs like to sit on their pigloos! :
