I was putting my piggies out in the run, and I noticed that all River's whiskers on one side of her face are really short! Could another pig have nibbled them off? And why?

River lives with two other females, and shares the run with another two females. Ace does not get on well with Elphie, from the other group, and they often squabble and River's bottom has been known to get in the way on occasion - could her whiskers have been lost after a squabble? It seems odd that so many are now short - I'd have expected only the odd one if it had been an accident.

Also, will her lack of whiskers cause her any problems? I know piggies need them to judge space and stuff.

oh gosh........maybe barbering? ?/
As long as you keep things all the same i'm sure she'll cope ok :) (blind piggies cope really well as long as you keep everything the same for them)
Maybe keep a strict eye for the next week or so......and weigh her daily in case she's having any issues....... HUGS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Give little River some special loves from the girls and I xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
