My boys are robust and noisy devils, one is an old boy (elvis) and he lives with a teenage (dougie). Dougie is devoted to Elvis and follows him everywhere. toffee and fudge started together as cage mates but as they hit adolescence fudge started to bully toffee and now they have to live seperate cos he bit him and hurt him. Toffee has a run that is parallel to the other pair of boys and can see and wheek to them through the bars.
But ALL LOVE VEG :) :) - can't get them interested in fruit..:( . Apple's ..... no chance. Grapes the same, turned noses up to home grown raspberry. Any suggestions from fruit loving piggies please :)

I don't actually feed fruit. It contains sugar which is unhealthy for piggies. I don't think you should worry about your boys not eating fruit. They seem to like what is good for them.

Mine eat apples and pears but I hardly ever feed it because of the sugar. I feed plenty of pepper for vit c so they would be getting too much sugar if I added fruit as well

I feed a little bit of apple (about a third of a small apple between two piggies, so a sixth each piggy) every Saturday, the piggies love it. Sometimes I try a different fruit instead of feeding apple. I have tried feeding them mango, kiwi, nectarine, orange, and strawberries (homegrown as well as shop bought), but they don't really like those. Also tried homegrown blackberries, they quite liked them. The first ever fresh food I fed Doughnut (avatar piggy) was half of a small strawberry and he loved it, but has hated them since. :P His brother never really liked them in the first place. They love strawberry leaves though.

Fruit should only really be considered a treat, so I would not worry if they won't eat it. Kiwi and cranberries (not both at the same time) are ideal fruit, if they'll eat them, because kiwi is very rich in Vitamin C and cranberries supposedly help prevent bladder problems from occurring.

You said you had homegrown raspberry? Raspberry leaves are very good for guinea pigs, they are not very high in sugar at all and can be fed pretty much every day. Your piggies may like them. Here's a good food chart: http://www.happycavy.com/what-can-guinea-pigs-eat/

We have got a list of edible foods (including fruit) in our food section:
http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/...veg-and-fruit-list-with-vitamin-c-grading.42/

Please feed fruit (including tomatoes) no more than twice in a week; too much or too often (even in small quantities) can lead to mouth or lip sores and fungal or bacterial infections (cheilitis).

You can also feed organic banana skins, not just the fruit and the green bits from strawberries.

Thank you every one for your advice, yes I could use the leaves from raspberry bushes, hadn't thought of those, coz we humans don't eat them :) but if good for piggys then shall raid neighbours bushes :)
I will try a little kiwi fruit next time I eat them myself,

Mine will eat a little bit of melon, apple, raspberry and strawberry. They only get a little bit if I'm having it and willing to share it with them. Lol.

That chart is a bit confusing, for example it says swiss chard is suitable for everyday feeding (green on key), but it also has warnings for bloat and risk of bladder problems?! Maybe I'm just easily confused, tehe
Well, I believe that bit is kind of wrong. I think swiss chard is only suitable for 1-2 times weekly, but I'm not sure.
