Why do our 2 sows (sisters) nearly 6 months old fight over everything? We've had them since they were 6 weeks old and they completely confuse us! At times they seem to like each other and at others they don't. Recently we've noticed that the bigger one (Lily) seems to be bullying Rose. We're not sure whether we should keep them together or not, we've tried changing the cage round and adding or removing different hidey's but they seem to always want the same one! Lily seems to be trying to nip Rose and Rose lets out very loud squeaks! We haven't noticed any drawn blood but we're worried about Rose. Any advice please.:...

My sister pair Nerys and Nia have been very squabbly when I got them; with Nia bullying big Nerys.

It got noticeably better (although not completely) when I introduced them to Llewelyn, my neutered boar. Since she has stopped growing at about 14 months, Nia has calmed down A LOT!

It also helps that I have a big group now, so they can still hang out together (which they do), but they don't have to!
