what does this sound mean?

My wee girls arrived yesterday. When I hold them and stroke their fur especially one of them sound "pip pip pip" all the time, not so very loud, she doesnt seem uncomfortable, quite relaxed but why the sounds?

That sounds like the happy noise some piggies make when being stroked. My piggy Daisy does this as soon as I touch her lol However my other 2 take ages to do it & then not as often, as they aren't as relaxed rolleyes

Thank you so much, was reading on the net and some wrote it means they are uncomfortable but she just layed there and seemed to enjoy it, these wee ones got lovely temperament!
