Hi again,
Another question from a newbie guinea pig owner!
We have had our girls Sadie and Willow since Thursday, they live indoors in our spare bedroom in a hutch, and they spend time out in the garden in a run during the day (weather permitting)
The bedding we have used in their hutch is:
A layer of newspaper
A thick layer of woodshavings
A layer of carefresh
And then in the bedroom part we also use a layer of hay on top.
They also have a hayrack in the main part.
Does this sound ok to you? Just wondering how others on here set up their hutches and what materials you use.
My two girls drink LOADS and therefore also wee loads too! So any suggestions on the most absorbant materials would be great.
I am so in love with the girls they are so cute and very friendly too, have had both out for cuddles which they seem happy with. Wish I'd known how lovely guinea pigs are in the past
