I saw these grids on Ebay and they are advertised as having 16 cubes. Do you think this means it's actually 16 cubes as in the picture, or 16 square grids?

They are the wrong size - The C&C grids are 36cm these ones are only 23cm.

Could I not use them anyway, just use more than the standard 2x4?

I don't think they would be high enough but I don't know as I haven't seen or used them.

Hmm, that's true, I didn't think of that.

I think I'm going to buy them, I can always make the cage two grids high because if I did my calculations right there are 56 (I think!) grids, so that's plenty
