Adult Guinea Pig
Sorry, more housing questions from me! :red
I am trying to think of ways to make my guinea-pigs housing more interesting for them and also a bit bigger, and as some of you may know my Mum doesn't want me to buy new hutches because she thinks its a waste of the ones we've got. I have three 4ft hutches, Barry lives in one of them, and the girls live in another one, and I have one spare since Roy died. I was thinking of attaching the girls hutch and Roy's old hutch together to make a larger space.
Because the girls hutch is two storey and Roy's hutch is a one storey it would be difficult to just put them next to each other and cut a hole, so I was going to use a run around tunnel:

(the black tunnel with the green hole clips)
I think my guinea-pigs may use them as they love tunnels, and of course I'd get ones that were definetly big enough for them to get through.
Although most of the advertising on the website shows rabbits, it says its also ok for guinea-pigs to use.
I'm just looking into it to see what everyone would think before I ask Mum because I want to make sure it would work. It would give my girls an 8ft hutch
I don't know if Mum would say yes, she thinks my ideas are a bit weird but she really likes the runaround tunnels and we have Roy's hutch so I think it might be ok
