I've done some pretty hard shopping today to prepare for when I pick my girls up on Wednesday. The last time I had pigs was about 15 years ago, so I'm anxious to get everything absolutely right. The hutch will be going outside on the patio, and I've bought a protective cover for it. When winter comes it's likely that I'll move them indoors.

Apologies for the bad quality photos...lighting in my house isn't brilliant.

Is there anything that's missing? I know some people are against wood shavings, but I'm going to try them for a bit and see how the girls go. I've included lots of hay, wooden chew toys, two hidey places (igloo and tunnel) and a couple of toys.

Any advice/thoughts/ideas would be great :tu:.

It looks really good... Mine really like those twig like bridge/tunnels to hide under and climb over .. X
 
I have bought them one of those...might put it in the hutch instead of the cardboard one.
 
:D It's looking good! You might want to change the wood shavings ,as they go EVERYWHERE! Perhaps use hay in both compartments? Also if possible, make the legs longer, so it is not so close to the floor, out of drafts and out of the reach of cats and foxes. :tu:
