What do you think about refrigerated tiles for the pigs in hot weather?

We're being very vigilant at the mo because of the UK heatwave and have been keeping the pigs' room shaded and as cool as poss. We have a stack of sample ceramic tiles from planning some DIY and I thought it might be nice for the pigs if we put the (cleaned) tiles in the fridge then leave a couple in the habitat so pigs can cool their tums down if need be. The tiles don't get icy cold - just cool to the touch. What do you think? Sensible, or likely to cause complications?

Ceramic tiles are a great idea :) ours have them as well as frozen bottles of water in socks, mine prefer the water bottles but my gerbils love pancaking themselves on the tiles. To be fair to the tiles, they're very small and all my pigs are rather large lol they might use them more if they were bigger.

Nice one, thank you! They seem to be doing well in the warm ... Still trotting about every now and then. Think I'm faring worse than they are - oh for a swim right about now 😭😭

None of our friends or family have been to our house since March... When they finally come back our fridge will be full of ceramic tiles and cabbage where there used to be fizzy drinks for the human guests 🤦‍♀️😝

That would be a pretty neat idea!
