What can I use?

My 2 pigs live in a hutch that has a run connected at the bottom. I do not use the run anymore as they have a separate bigger one. I still want them to be able to go down to the bottom so they cam have more space but I don't know what I can layer the floor with as I do not want them to just have the pavement! Anybody have any suggestions?
