what can I use instead?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can suggest what I can use for my boys cage? At the moment I got wood shavings for them. Ive made them cosy pouches but they don't really use them unless they are on my lap.

Hi,

personally I use fleece and towels but you have to like washing!
Megazorb is meant to be good and alot cheaper than carefresh.

I have switched to fleece, it doesn't look very attractive but it is so easy to clean and change.

I would recommend fleece too.

If they're indoors I'd say fleece or vetbed. I use Auboise for my outdoor pigs as it's so easy to spot clean daily as it's so absorbent. I've also used Megazorb and I'd recommend it very much but it can be hard to get hold of, which is why I switched to Auboise.

Thanks the replies. hmm I'm torn between fleece and the vetbed bed. I got an old fleece throw lying around so will try that, think i might buy a vetbed too see how that goes. Iv got 3 very messy but spoilt boys so will see what their reactions are. Thanks for the advice. does anybody know where i can get those c c grids from pretty cheap?
