In the winter I move all my guinea-pigs into the shed, but not all the hutches fit, so I put Billy in an indoor cage in the shed which doesn't take up so much room. He's been fine in this but it's now broken and I'd like to get him a new one for the winter. It has to be big enough to fit 1 adult boar in it. Which cage would you suggest?

sorry i pressed thanks instead of reply! I have a fully grown boar in a Nero 3, but I have made a hammock out of fabric which I have put up in the corner, so he can hide underneath it, instead of having a house in there, as I find I loses space then.

If you look on zooplus.co.uk, there's the maxi XXL one for about £35 last time I checked. It's big enough for two pigs, so definitely for one, 120cm X 60cm pretty much, so would that fit in your shed?

Oh and I'd also suggest having something like a little wooden house in the cage for him to sleep in in winter, to keep the warmth in. :)

Ok thank you, I'll have a look at zooplus. He did have a little wooden house but I dropped it and broke it in half :( So I'll have a look on zooplus for those too
