hello,
This is the pic of the cage I have built for Leo and Augustus
I have used lino instead of correx on the base as I couldn't find the amount I needed at a reasonable price. I got the lino for £25 from the market, I love how it matches my laminate floor!
However, I am unsure what bedding to use on the base. Previously I have been using newspaper followed by an inco pad, followed by towels and fleece. I sew so have been thinking of sewing some of the layers together. Do I need all these layers? Another thread further up seems to say that I only need an inco pad backed with nylon then fleece. Would this really be enough?
I am also struggling as to what to do with the upper layer; firstly in terms of a ramp (each, not sure whether they are going to live together yet) and that the lino ran out so I have had to put down some cut up carpet protector. Its not nearly as stiff.
Thanks
Jen
