What Bedding do you use?

I’ve used aubiose and shavings. Loved aubiose but can’t use it. I’m using shavings at the moment. Which one have you been using? And do you spot clean and take out wet patches? And are you sure it’s the bedding and not wet hay that smells?

I've used Carefresh, Back 2 Nature, shavings, Aubiose and shredded paper.
Carefresh and Back to Nature was too expensive.
Shavings too dusty, one of my boars has a reaction to it.
Aubiose stank even before use.
Shredded paper wasn't absorbant enough.
I now use fleece liners and wouldn't go back to any of the others.

I like aubiose or megazorb (topped with hay). If I cant get those then I'll use shavings (again topped with hay).
Never have any problems with any of them (spot clean daily - removing wet areas and topping back up)

I use old newspaper on the bottom with shavings on top and hay in piles. I have two boars and they have never smelt. I pick out the poops I can see every evening. I also take out handfuls of any wet shavings and hay and then top up.

I use fleece with an absorbent layer (Uhaul furniture pads) in the main areas of their cage and then two different disposable paper beddings with a layer of hay on top in their kitchen/litter areas. I agree with suggestions above. You need to spot clean (remove poos and wet spots) regularly (at least once per day) and full clean at least once per week.

I use GuineaDad fleece liners. I spot clean twice a day and do a full clean once a week. I have used shavings in the past, but switched to fleece as one of my piggies was getting old and had trouble moving around due to her arthritis.
