I have a c anc cage with lino on the base, fleece cage liner under the bed and hemp and hay in the hay trays. I love fleece cos it is so cosy for them and so colourful and pretty for me.

I like the fact that it is reusable and saves on waste.

I use hemp, flax & miscanthus chips as they're all effective, cheap, green to produce & green to dispose of. I ticked Auboise on the survey as it's the closest to what I use.
I won't use fleece as it releases more than 1.7g of microplastics (that was the measure for a single jacket) into the water supply with every wash.
Wood shavings don't even absorb anything, never seen the point of them!

fleece for ever!:D
effective, cheap (and it will last longer than the life of the piggies), washable with all the other laundry, comfortable for the piggies' feet, odourless, etc.
I love fleece. I tried it ages ago but didn't like it. I got a cordless hand held Hoover and it's so easy now

I’ve just moved on to fleece and love it! My boars all seem to enjoy it too, especially their beds! The only downside is boar glue - I’d never seen it before but now they’re on fleece is shows up big time!

no hoover for me, but once a day, during floor time, I shake the fleece on the floor. I hate cleaning up the house but I must admit that I enjoy cleaning the cage and realising how many poo they produce in few hours!...:D
and then the fleece has such cheerful colours:luv:
this is my piggies' collection :D (how boring when the husband says "another one?")
