Hey guys,

Recently, I have been thinking about changing my piggies bedding from hay and sawdust, to fleece. I am also going to move them back into the house. I just want opinions on fleece bedding and places to put piggie cages/pens. I have moved them inside before, and they were placed in my large, downstairs bathroom. They seemed pretty happy but, i just wanted any ideas on where else they could be placed. PS I'm new here :yahoo:

I'm a new owner to piggies as well. I've just ordered 2 fleece liners for our cage as the wood shavings are driving me mad- its gets everywhere. We use a litter tray with hay in it and a puppy pad underneath where they do most of their poos and pees. I'm going to use puppy pads in the spots in the cage that they wet to try and prolong washing the fleece.

Welcome!

It's not really recommended to have pigs housed on sawdust, so you might want to swap to wood shavings asap. Sawdust can get up their noses can cause respiratory issues.
