My guinea pig Pumpkin is very anti social she doesn’t like coming out of her cage at all so the only times i take her out is when I weogh her and i’ve noticed there’s pee or maybe even poop stuck to her lower back and around her bottom i have a photo attached i’m very worried about her
she is eating and drinking fine and is not having any abnormal weight check ins and i don’t know if i need to take her to the vet for this?

Hello could you try gently cleaning the area with warm water. Is it her grease gland? It’s hard to see exactly where it is. If it’s red or swollen I’d get it check out by a vet.

The picture isn’t very clear. It does looks like it might be slightly higher than her bottom and in fact be her grease gland, but it is hard to tell.
If her grease gland is dirty then you can clean it but it depends on how it is actually looking. Sometimes it’s more than just a dirty grease gland and a vet needs to check it.

Part the fur and check her skin
i don’t see any redness but i do feel a lump or something that shouldn’t be there. or maybe it is normal?
