Hi all were is the cheapest place to buy fleese i have 2 pieces well they were sleeping bags but the kids never used them they are ideal nice and thick but i have only just stated using it the past month i change it every day if i dont it stinks i have only got 2 pigs in a 140 cage but my boar is a stinky one hence changing every day i really need a least another 2 pieces how much standby do you guys have xx

I buy mine from primark £2.50 and change every 3-4 days, but boars do tend to stink especially if they are scenting!

Got to be Primark, but big supermarkets I've heard do it cheap too. I must confess I have a huge stack of fleece - I'm addicted :))

Ditto what the others have said, it's all about Primark! Find it in the homewares section. Me, the dogs and the pigs all have fleeces rolleyes

Emma do you have an absorbent layer towel or something under the fleece?

no just the fleese with about a foot of the cage newspaper with there igloo on top filled with hay they do pee a lot in the igloo xx

Fleece just lets the urine pass through so that they have a dry surface to live on. Maybe if you put towel or zorb or some other sort of absorbent material under the fleece the smell might be less.

I buy mine from Dunhelm Mill or Textile express by the metre. I have 2 pieces one in the cage and one washed . I use inco pads underneath.

Shaws are also seeing them too for £1.95 and they have many colours, also home bargains and B&M have fleece at decent prices too.

I too use fleece and inco pads and they are fab at absorbing the urine, you should invest in something to go under the fleece, as then you wont have to change them every day. :)
