We’re at the emergency vet

Bought some syringes from the small pet shop to give pepper some pro C for his poops… and he ate the teet off the end
We came straight to the emergency vets fingers crossed for him.
This is what he has eaten

Don’t - there’s no reason to feel guilty.
Given the number of piggies who get syringe fed it’s a surprise this doesn’t happen more often, especially when a syringe has to be wrestled away from piggy teeth.

Some good news he has had a x ray and we can’t see it so he hasnt swallowed it whole, the vet is happy for us to take him home and keep an eye on his bowl movements.

I’m okay now thank you, was upset in the vets but so glad when she came back and we couldn’t see it on the X ray he has enjoyed his tea and some fibreplex since coming home!
