You know when you go out for something completely unrelated but fall head over heels in love....? Oops!

I walked away, I thought about it, I returned to enquire about them...and in the end I couldnt walk away.

So here I am, +2 guinea pigs. They are incredibly sweet, Daisy the smallest was popcorning and zooming all over the place..a compressed, hairy bundle of happiness haha Delilah seems more reserved, but still very sweet. They even gave us some free change over food!

Well not even 24 hours of being here and Delilahs got herself into a pickle and got hay poke! Flushed the eye out with the eye drops we have for them.. little sausage was not impressed! Other than that, theyre doing fantastic, much more confident than I was expecting them to be.

I had a quick cuddle while spot cleaning and sorting out the eye. (Please ignore my horrendous pyjamas!)

Aww poor Delilah, hope she is soon on the mend.

They both look adorable. Can see why you fell in love.

They are just stunning. I can see why you wanted them both. Daisy is especially lovely, her colouring is so pretty.

As soon as I saw Daisy's pink eyes I was in love...then she proceded to race around the place, leaping and popcorning over all the othersand I knew I needed her lol! She was the smallest by quite a bit but she clearly didnt care...I expect the others were glad to have a quiet night last night! She still hasnt stopped..ive never seen one popcorn so much.

Delilahs eye is a lot better tonight, grabbed some saline solution while I was out and ive flushed it out really well, its much less red and sore looking.

*sigh* just cleaned her eye and of course...her nose is gunky. Vets tomorrow! Why do I never learn!? At least theyll be getting sorted out. She fell asleep on me while I had her out, she either is really chilled out like I thought, or feels pretty crappy. Guess i'll find out once we get her some antibiotics!

Vets sorted, we've got antibiotics and eyedrops all courtesy of Pets at home! Enough for both but I'm not to start Daisy on anything unless she shows symptoms. They offered to take them back and treat them, then return them when healthy but I opted to keep them and do it myself, the staff in store actually checked them over too...very different experience to when we first bought Blackberry and Bramble..credit where its due I suppose! I'm quite impressed. Wonder if my complaint had anything to do with that..doubt it but you never know!
