Weird chattering, acting like they've seen a ghost then in a weird trance making steam train noises

Ok, a weird one here. I was just giving my piggies breakfast when all of a sudden two of them absolutely bolted. Jesús ran under the guinea dad blanket and Milly ran to a nearby wooden house. She then proceeded to go into a total trance before shaking like a leaf and then making weird teeth chattering sounds that I can only describe as sounding like a steam train. After 30 seconds she came out of the trance and ran away before letting me pick her up and give her cuddles to calm her down. After a while she went back to her food and is now happily eating hay.
Jesús also took a bit of consoling but also soon calmed down and went back to his food.
Has anyone got any ideas / witnessed something similar? As it was happening, my immediate thought was to get her to the vet but she's absolutely fine now!

The chances are they heard something which scared them. Their hearing is more acute than ours.
