Weird behaviour

Hi all - please can you help?
I've got 2 boars (Crockett & Tubbs), Crokett doesn't seem to use a water bottle or bowl, but is quite happy to lick Tubbs' wee patches on the fleece bed>>>.
Is this normal, or is he a bit strange :{

lol that is weird! i hope he isn't being pushed around? Gunther used to be like that when she was younger, her mom and sister would take over the water bottle and food bowl, and she would go for the left overs (she changed now and holds her own) my pigs can be similar sometimes but for the most part they demand their own food...and even if they have their own they wont hesitate to grab one another's snacks out of their mouth

its a bit strange... but nothing too awful...
put another water bottle in the otherside of the cage... as far as bores go.. as a general rule you need two of everything..
hope this helps...
also just a though but maybe if its warm where you are is to pop some ice cubes in the cage... that might get his attention and get him drinking...
also you could give him high water foods such as celery and melon etc.

Are you sure he's licking it (drinking it) and not just rubbing his nose in to sniff it? My old boars used to do that, as if they were licking it but were just sniffing at it... Weird behaviour but boys will be boys!

He may be one of those pigs that doesn't drink a lot and drinks water when you're not looking. I'm sure the wee obsession he has is just a boy-thing!

Cant comment on the wee licking (!) but if you're worried about him not drnking, my boar doesn't seem to touch a drop either. I just give lots of cucumber to compensate.

How long have you had them?

My boars, always lick there friends wee off the ground. I guess its normal! I have 3 boys and they all do it!

Thanks everyone, I've had them 5 months now, and they do have a few weird behaviour quirks.
Crockett's not being bullied away from the water as he is the dominant one (I presume he is as he keeps trying to mount Tubbs)
I'm not sure whether he is licking, he could be just sniffing
