Hi All,

I thought that for anyone who weighs their pigs weekly we could start a thread for it! :D Here are my weigh ins!

Sunshine 5 months 1lb 15oz 780g Increase of 80g From last week.

Twinkle 4 months 2 weeks 1lb 6oz 550g Increase of 25g From last week.

Cuzzy 3 months 2 weeks 1lb 440g Increase of of 60g From last week.

Should I be worried about Twinkle he is in with Sunshine at the moment and although Twinkle has gained I'm thinking Sunshine is nicking the food, perhaps two bowls for veggies?

I always give my piggies a bowl each because the little blighters will try and nick their mates food. Some pigs hoover and some are slower eaters,so the hoovers can more than their share.

Thanks Mary, I'll do that, I don't think Sunshine is being dominant with the food though, but I'll know better next week when I weigh again! Must admit, the boys where so good getting weighed, they are becoming so calm and tame which is really great!

Take care,

Louise

I weighed mine this week

Bob 8-9 weeks 350g

John Anderson 1yr: 2lb 4oz

Milly: 920g
Trixy: 820g
Both are full grown, and I think Milly is overweight...

If you look at the sticky threads in the food setion there is already a thread for weigh in.

Not quite sure how to copy links but it's there I promise!

Hiya,

Thanks! I saw that the other day and will use that from now on. Usually I just click on Show unread posts so missed the weight link in the first place! :)

Take care,

Found it thanks but any ideas on where I could get cheap scales that are accurate enough to weigh them

I just use my kitchen scales, they aren't digital and I use an old container to hold them in get the scales to zero with the container on before I put the pigs in and that works for me.

Maybe Ebay or Ikea will have them! :)
