Weight?

As i mentioned befor in a post gizmo was losing weight as he was ill... well he did weigh 0.90 grams on friday 3rd feb ive just weighed him today and he is a whopping 1.138 grams how has he put that much weight on in a matter of 4 days? is this normal?
 
Is he eating fine and passing poo's? He's not fluffed up and bloated?

What weight was he on the Friday?
 
That's good news - should think they can gain weight as fast as they can lose it ?/
My four boys weigh between 1100 - 1500g each, one of my little rescue sows almost doubled her weight within two weeks of us having her and it is normal for this to occur :))
 
He did fluff up a little bit last night but not today his poos are normal he did have diarriha he been vets and was on medication for a UTI which has cleared now he lost weight due to the medication he got took off them friday 3rd which he weighed at 0.90grams and they said to keep and eye on him see if he eats and ive just weight him and he is 1.138grams
 
That is good news! I wish my boy would do the same! Hope he is back to normal soon. x

900 grams then up to 1.138grams, this is a 238 gram gain. It may be that he is putting on weight after his illness... If he is pooing fine and eating fine, then I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on it...

Our piggie Treacle often gains 100g in a weeks weigh, just the way she is.
 
Yeah i will keep an eye on him thanks guys =) he is eating plenty of hay maybe he getting his appitite back =)
 
It sounds like he is getting his appetite back.

Please weigh piggies weekly - it is a valuable tool to spot developing health conditions early when the chance of recovery is so much higher.

I am weighing him every few days at minute due to him being ill but he is all better now i was just shocked at how much weight he gained in 4 days =)
