Weight gain?

Hi. 3 weeks ago I got a baby to go with my recently bereaved sow Mabel. I rang around and there were no females in rescue so ended up getting a baby. I think she was about 9/10 weeks. She weighed 293g. She has been putting on weight normally but this week seems to have put on loads. What weight gain is normal? She has gone from 293g, 322g, 366g and 423g. She is eating fine, her stomach isn’t particularly rounded and she has definitely grown in length. Bit worried she may be putting on too much weight.

Provided you feed a good hay based diet with one cup of veg and one tablespoon of pellets, they will gain weight in their own time. You may find she doesn’t gain much the next time.

Thanks. Am hoping so. Bit worried she may be pregnant. But guess I can’t do anything anyway so as long as she is healthy what will be will be.
