My boys are out having some floor time at the mo. There is quite a bit of chattering and some rumble-strutting, but they have been aiming wee's at one another!

Is this normal?

I've just not seen them do this before. can anyone shed any light on it?:{

My two girls squirt wee at each other but I think it is to show that they are not in season. Maybe boys do it to mark their territory.

Boys

They're also doing a whole lot of humping! Never seen them doing this either, so maybe it's just their age(about a year old),

^ the same happens with my three girls and my boy, although only two of them squirt wee- the most dominant girl, and the youngest who is at the bottom of the group. they only do it when another pig is either trying to mount them or is irritating them in some way; i think they do it to assert themselves.

relaxing now.

After all their arguing etc, they're now having a lie down on the lounge floor.

How chilled out are they?

Boys squirt pee at girls to mark them as theirs; looks like yours have hit the hormones.

How old are they?

Could still be a hormonal surge behind it. Peeing is not unusual, and it has sexual/dominance connections. Just keep an eye on it in case they fight, otherwise don't worry (apart from the testosterone-laden smell!).

my boys don't squirt pee both both my sows squirt pee at the boys. :)) Piglet has excellent aim too :)) :))

I haven't a clue what it means in boys but I understand it to mean " oft and stop pestering me!" when sows do it at boys. :))

In boys it means "You're mine and I want you!"... Married girls often sport a yellow patch on their noses - it's the piggie version of a wedding ring, I guess!
