I ran my 2 half marathons in September (Great North Run - both documented on here) both years were red hot and I got a fantastic tan!

I going HTF did I get here!
I'm only second generation English, my grandparents on both sides are from Ireland.
Maternal grandparents are from County Tyrone, paternal grandparents are from County Cork. The phrase "glutton for punishment" comes to mind!
My mum's English, but my Dad's a Belfast lad, although I'm sure if my grandmother heard me call myself Irish she'd about have a fit lol.
Hilariously mum's accent is as broad Norn Iron as you get, she sounds nothing like the posh Dorset woman she used to
Gosh. I hope you are ok?From one end of the spectrum to the other, Carlisle was the wettest part of the country, I left my house at 4.50am expecting to get to the station for 5.30am for a cuppa prior to a 6am start - how wrong was I, I finally got in at 6.55am minus my front number plate and car under tray!
