Hello again guys and girls...

So after all this lovely weather this weeked i have been able to put my guineas out in the garden in their hutch and they were able to go in their run and run around for 30minutes or so, and they are loving it.
It is due to rain tonight being the 25/05/10 and they are still outside, i was just wondering if it is okay to leave them out in their hutch and i usually cover them up with a warm blanket anyway.

If i could get some replies back asap that would be brill thank you ever so much on all the help you have given me with my unusual sightings in fur thread too! :))

Your piggies should be fine outside so long as their hutch is covered and sheltered so they do not get wet. A water proof hutch cover or tarpaulin is ideal :)

Yeah i was thinking about getting one, but then again they are about £60 :/

I got a hutch cover yesterday, I've gota say, putting it on was like learning rocket science :P

the hutch cover wont make them get too warm will it?

Say, for example, if i put the cover on and closed the flaps and the sun came out...*** it get very hot? Its not a home made cover, it was purchased from hollybush, it has plastic to cover the main door, mesh and a green cover for the downstairs side panel and um...plastic for fronts? the rest is green material

I don't know the answer to that as mine are indoor but I meant to ask, how is your ill piggy, I think you were looking for an alternative Vets in your area...Wednesfield?
