We need a Piggie Get-together !

Something to look forward to in the New Year. :)

A gathering of typically piggie minded people where we can all yak about pigs and things to our hearts content.

I was so disappointed couldnt make the last one, be nice to make arrangements if another can be organised.

Good idea , Deb. The last party was lovely, and I still enjoy looking at the pix, and remembering all the nice people and piggies I met.
 
We met in my garden last time - their are pictures in the photo gallery! They will be titled Fundraiser or something like that as we raised over £200 for Piggie Rescues last time around.

It is a bit cold and wet for a garden party now though! I am happy to host another one but it will have to be in the better weather as my house is too tiny for many people!
 
Maybe one person from each area could orgnaise something as I know it would be hard for everyone to get to one place....
I'd be happy to attend something in or around the North East - anyone else?

London or the South for me if poss, though I wouldnt rule out travelling
 
Midlands for me - don't mind a bit of travel & could pick up from somewhere like Leicester (Mary!)
 
I'm in Yorkshire, and I know there are a couple of other members nearby :)

I might try and organise a guinea get-together in the North East of England, next summer, but in association with other rescues...friends so should be easy to persuade them.
Have too much to consider at the moment to give a lot of thought to this but e-mail me if interested in coming along or helping me out. Likely to be in the Tyne and Wear/Gateshead/South Shields area :)

As long as I could get a train I would be more than happy to come along! No kids for a hole day that would be great!

That would be great, its only 2 hours for me to get to you :)

If anyone would like to come to see you, but needs a place to crash for a night (not everyone wants to travel there and back again on the same day) I have one couch and one futon to offer! :)

That's great, I will put some feelers out after Christmas to see what fiends have planned and where. Maybe we could fundraise for the CCT? General rescues or just try and increase guinea care awareness? I always have friendly bomb proof cavies up for a day out :)

We'll make this happen!
