We Are Bonding!

So far so good. They've been in the bonding pen for 3 hours and are now fast asleep. Masses of humping from Caspy and he's been teaching Nugget how to bite the bars . Caspy is not impressed with being in a pen, if he's not in his cage he normally free roams. Fingers crossed for an uneventful wake up!

They are awake and sharing a pile of hay and scattered nuggets. Lots of submission squeaking from Nugget but they are looking really good so far! They now have 2 two doorway beds, a tunnel and 2 water bottles, will leave them in the pen and see how well they are getting on in the morning before I transfer them into the altered cage. Thank goodness for C&C grids, so versatile, don't know what I'd do without them. Wish I had shares in a cable tie company though, I must have used thousands over the last few years.

These two are doing really well together. Caspy is being very tolerant, even down to having food taken out of his mouth. Nugget even takes hay from Caspy, there's a million bits of hay in the cage but the bit Caspy has in his mouth is the best bit!

It's going brilliantly thanks @eileen They are both quite dominant characters so time will tell when Nugget comes out of his baby hood into the terrible teens. I'm taking each day as it comes and loving every second at the moment. Weather is awful here so I have spent the morning rebuilding Spike and Peanut's old C&C for Rusty and Peanut so Caspy and Nugget can have the whole 5 x 3 cage. When I take the divider out later I suspect I will have two very bouncy piggies as they explore their extra space.

They are loving their revamped cages. Peanut has brightened up this afternoon, he looks a different piggy, he really didn't like living on the ground floor. Peanut is now back in his Penthouse Suite and showing Rusty how to lord it over the humans. Nugget and Caspy are loving having lots of extra room to zoom about in. I'm sure Caspy thinks it's about time he got the other half of his cage back.
