I adopted my girls - Missy and Margot a month ago. They were living in a cramped ferplast and I’ve since upgraded them to a 2x4. I bought them a large wooden house it was made bespoke. I didn’t realise that the wood was untreated until I noticed that true top of the house when I’ve created a hay area became saturated with urine. I removed the house and cleaned it the best I could with white vinegar. I desperately need to waterproof the wood. Can anyone suggest a pet safe sealant or anything else to help? The girls really love sleeping in the loft and grazing.

Could you get a puppy pad and fleece to use on it? I believe there is a sealant/wood paint you can use but can’t remember it at all.
