water phobias

has any one got phobias of water here

mine mainly is when we go swimming a hate being touched when i am in the deeo end of the pool and i scream most the time when i get touched ans i only stated going in the deep end a few years ago
 
I hate swimming pools. I am terrified of them and havn't been to one for about five years. I never learnt to swim either because I was too scared to get into the water. I hate them. ack. I don't mind the sea though, but will only go paddling in the really shallow water, I hate deep water. :(
 
yes i have a water phobia, i am seriously afraid of ship wrecks, or anything sinking , i think i drowned in a past life, if i'm in the pool and the water is around my throat i cant breath properly.

same here maybe we was on the same ship ;D I've also got fear of being in a car under water ( bad realistic dream many years ago) I cannot watch anyone under water or drowing on tv and have never watched Titanic through and Eastenders the other day was awlful I held my breath all through while kids watched it , but can swim and dont mind the water on the whole in fact i live on an island surrounded by water ;D
 
I'm petrified of going in swimming pools after nearly rowning twice it's no suprise, lol. One was when i was on holiday there was no life guard watching the adult slie of limits to kids so me and my cousing about 8 yo went down right in the deep end of course i can't swim so i nearly downed but my dad must hvae noticed and saved us, ll no life gaurd did :P Another time i nearly drowned in the really deep part trying to learn, got saved again this was when i was 13 or something, never been back again. Won't even go in holiday pools ;D

Don't mind baths, showers or splashing my face but pools are a no go and the sea cos i'm scared of walking over seaweed (don't you all dare laugh) ;D

i couldn't watch eastenders but got all the family to talk it through as it was on.
I have said in another thread that i think i was on the titanic as i've always had a fascination with the titanic story,since i was a child. i had goosebumps all the way through watching the film, found it very eery, hence the feeling that i have drowned in a past life.
 
I'm terrified of waters. Swimming in a swimming pool is a hell for me. Further then my enkels I'm not going. You'll never see me swim in the sea. In most swimming area's here they have a wild water course. I HATE IT! No way you're getting me in there. Not even for a milion euro's. So water is great as long as I can control it. Or else you're going to see me in a huge panic
 
I used to be able to swim well as a little child but now I'm scared of drowning as I got jumped on by a big kid. Ever since than I've been scared. I don't worry about the water down below on ferries, etc though ? And am perfectly fine on bridges, piers etc but scared of swimming in pools slightly.
 
I looovvveee swimming! If my skin didnt go all pruney I would live in the water 2funny We have a pool but its never hot enough to swim in it :(
 
I must admit I love swimming as well... love swimming up and down just going through the day in my head - find it so relaxing :)
 
I love water :) :)
but do have a thing about the sea and the not knowing what is under you really freaks me out
I try not to show it so will paddle knee height for my twins sake but deeper I have to be able to see the bottom and no sea weed

I dont like swimming in the ocean either :-\ it freaks me out... I'm scared of sharks and stuff... and the seaweed is gross :( lol but I love swimming in pools becaue you know for sure that theres no sharks in there ;D
 
I don't like the oceon/sea! I have always hated it, but about 6 years ago i went to Spain and the sea looked so lovely i thought i'd brave it....after just 2 minutes in the sea i got really badly stung by a jelly fish. I took that as a sign i wasn't meant to like the sea and have never been in it since....not even paddled lol

the Isle of wight

just watched the sinking of the Lusitania and regret it am still shaking seeing them drowing in a lift and getting caught up and rowing I was holding my breath all the time Mick had to say for Gods sake woman breath you'll burst, funny thing i always get upset seeing a boat sink wierd or what?
