I need some help on how to position my water bottles. I have them in the cage one positioned for each one of my guinea pigs height since they are different ages and different sizes. I’ve noticed latly that my oldest is having to tilt her head quit a bit for her water bottle. Is it because it’s in the corner or is the height just not right? I moved them to the center of the wall on each side outside of the cage. Will this help? And does anyone have any other recommendations?

If the piggy has recently changed the way it drinks I’d get it checked at the vets. Maybe it’s teeth need checking. But if it’s always drank like that then maybe that’s just the way it likes to drink. 😃

Howdy,

this is where they become funny critters...yes good to have their teeth checked at the vets, I find different pigs drink differently, I have one who constantly likes to spill a good load out of his mouth...hes a boy and is just naughty. I have taken to placing a shallow dish under the bottle to catch the water! He doesn’t have teeth issues, he just does it that way, others are ‘tiggers’.74D6A841-A17B-4034-A709-89C232FC0CA1.webp
