Can anyone suggest a water bottle for a C&C cage.

The ones out of the shops won't really work. And the glass ones would be to heavy I think.

Thanks

If you attach something heavy at the base of the grid that the bottle will attach to then i would buy the glass one. The spouts are way better. Longer and easier to get to. Plus they come with a float for easy level checking. I have a duck one and a carrot one☺

I use Living World glass bottles with C&C without problems - I use the small size (177ml )

My glass bottles are kaytee and yep living world. The kaytee one even has measurement lines on.

I find just the standard ones from any pet shop work fine :)
Yep I've got a C&C cage and use the normal large plastic bottles from P@H (either midi or large, I'd go and check but my two are asleep at the moment, unlike me!) They do drip a bit but I just replace the Carefresh out from underneath them if it gets too damp.

I used to use the basic plastic ones with the holder that comes with our Ferplast cage, but recently bought the large Living World bottle (at the Potteries Rescue fair -thank you Helen!). It's good because it has a flat side to position more firmly against the bars, and the holder is a strong metal spring which can be clipped to both horizontal and vertical bars. It's only possible downside is that it is unmarked so if you're trying to track your pigs' consumption it is harder.

I use a combination of glass and plastic bottle on my C&C's (various piggies prefer different types) and all of them work fine.
I always place an extra pad under the bottles to catch any drips.

I have the same bottle, I know what you mean about the markings, mine came with a plastic carrot marker that floats on to of the water. But a toy one such as in lego/playmobil or something like that will do the same job. 🙂
