How do you guys wash your vetbed?
I usually hose off the worse outside then put into a washbag and put in the washer with 2 liquid tabs and thats it....but it still comes out looking dirty..what am I doing wrong?

A good shake outside, a tiny bit of washing powder and a slug of white vinagar in the rinse drawer, a 60 minute wash, comes out clean.

Sorry dont know what your doing wrong
:)

Hmmm maybe I need to use white vinegar then? in the same drawer you'd usualy put conditioner is it?

And what temp do you wash it on?

The white vingar is really to neutrilise the smell (I used to use it when washing babies nappies) and yes in the conditioner drawer.

I wash at 40 degrees.

I usually lie my vetbed on the floor outside and give it a sweep with the yard brush, gets near enough all the hay off, they i pop it in the washer, without a wash bag, 40 % wash with a little washing powder, then in tumble, ive been doing this for a year now and not had any probs with bits in washer etc, i think everyone finds their own better ways of doing this :)
