washing products

Dear all,
May I ask advice on washing fleece blankets as I want to get some for the piggies.
Are there any special wash liquids/fabric conditioners people use?
Do people just use non bio and products for sensitive skin? Just don't want to presume and make the piggies skin sore or itchy.

I don't have fleece but I think you use non bio powder and no fabric softner as it stops them being as absorbant...and I think you're best to put them in an old pillow case to stop any odd bits blocking your machine...If I'm wrong someone will soon put me right ;D

I use fairy, don't use conditioner as it forms a waterproof barrier stopping any liquid passing through O0
You're right sammy, pop it in a pillowcase and your all set!

I've got a huge piece of profleece so I have to use an old duvet cover!
