Washing my Guinea pig

Hi, I have 2 baby Guinea Pigs that we got a few weeks ago from a random family and I don't know if they need to be bathed? How often should you bathe a Guinea pig? I know that they can naturally wash themselves but how often should they have a proper wash?

Guinea pigs don't need to be bathed ( I think there's a few circumstances where it would be suitable but I'm not too sure ) often , they clean themselves . They will be scared being bathed and run away . So I wouldn't recommend it

I don’t bathe my guinea pig at all, but if you want to bathe your guinea pig this video would be helpful.

Guinea pigs only need bathing for medical reasons or when they get really grubby. I bathe mine once or twice a year if that. A bum bath is usually sufficient Bathing (including cleaning grease glands)
