Washing fleece before use?

Hi,

Just wondered if most people wash their fleece before using in a C&C cage for the first time?
Just got a bargain in Primark; 100% polyester fleeces for £1, and a couple of patterned ones for £2.50

The grids and connectors should hopefully be arriving tomorrow so will be building it over the next few days and wondered if I should wash the fleeces beforehand, and if so will once be enough?

I did. A few times. Apparently you need to so they soak up the liquid better.

At least twice, so you get rid of all the softener that seals the surface of the fleece and makes the piggies sit in their own pee.
