Washing bedding

Hi it's been a while but I'm back thinking of bringing Alan n pebbles back inside, I have enjoyed the disposable bedding as quicker easier to clean out and it isnt destroying my washing machine but don't think all hay etc would smell as good as fleece etc any ideas what I could put the indoor bedding in to protect my washing machine rather than have it loose. I have tried duvet cover but doesn't work that well, comes untied etc. thanks

Some people use horse wash bags. I have not tried them but it is worth a try.

I use a washing machine cleaner once a month seems to help alot
