hi does anyone know where i can get the washing bags from to stop the hay messing my washerup :{

Alternatively, you can use an old pillow case or duvet cover and tie a knot in
the end although sometimes the knots come undone (for me anyway) rolleyes

They are made for horse blankets and are bright orange but work really well.
No bits of hay or fur escapes.

I have the lurid orange windsock horse bag too!
I think it works, as the blanket and towel still have quite a bit of hair on which I then shake off.
I cant get to the filter on my washing machine, so didnt want to take any chances on it getting blocked up!

Ive just bought one of these too as i was sick and tired of having pet hair all over my washing no matter how hard i wiped the machine out after washing the vet bed. Really hope this works.
Otherwise its back to newspaper hay and megasorb

Just wanted to say thanks for this idea I bought one and it is brilliant no more pet hair on our clothes, a clean washing machine and clean fresh vetbed. Two happy piggies and one very happy slave.

Glad it worked for you too.
My guineas have the hay cookies and i can't get all the bits off the vetbed before washing, but even they stay inside the orange bag.
I just turn the bag inside out and peg it on the line after doing the washing and any bits soon blow away.
