I know this is a bit odd, but does anyone have a laundry/wash line that they like? I'm having trouble finding one online that is good quality. My mom used a rotary style one when I was a kid so I'm familiar with that type. If it helps, I have a family of 5 (not including piggies!) so we have a ton of laundry with young children.

Personally I prefer a long straight line fastened between 2 points with an adjustable pole in the middle.
I bought the line and the pole in the local supermarket but a hardware store should sell them too.

I've had both the long line and a rotary line, and I don't prefer either, it depends on what space I have to work with. My parents have a stretched line but it's a decent length and has two cables, so getting a family's worth of washing out on it isn't hard. But when I moved in here I had some electric line strung between my door stoop and the shed and then anchored on a tree - but it was dangerous and liable to fall down at any moment because the thing it was attached to on the shed was/is rotten. So I have a rotary line. I need to fix it into the ground actually for this year but I can pick it up and store it behind my front door which is a bonus, for me.

But I'm also only washing for one human and two goblins, so I can afford the smaller line.

Thank you for your replies! I think I'm going to just try stringing a wash line from my husband's blacksmith shop to a wooden fence post. I may use some poles in the middle to keep things up as it is a bunch of laundry. The good thing is my neighborhood doesn't have an HOA so I don't have to worry about that.
