I have this cage ( Might help if I include a link) lol

As you can see it has alot of wasted height. I was thinking of making a second level. I have some old guttering I was going to use as the ramp with a carpet off cut for grip.
My question is should I just do a small half level or another full level? I'm sure I can figure out how to do both just wondering what would be best.

Planning on the bottom being bedding and hay and the top being fleece with lots of cuddly things.

Anyone think of anyway I can use the two shelves it came with?

I know access at the front of the cage isnt great so I'm removing the front and making hinged doors with C&C grids

Thanks for any input

Vicky

sorry where you trying to post a picture because there was no pic for me

Claire Love did a really good conversion of a cage like this. I think she had a shelf each end joined by a tunnel (possibly, my memory fades these days :(|)). Hopefully she'll be online later and could put up some pics.

The only problem with adding a whole second level would be if you could still get you pigs in/ out easily, and cleaning the cage. :)
